You have three main options:

- Go to https://www.id.land
- Enter your property address or parcel number.
- Click on your lot, then click on surrounding parcels.
- Save each neighbor's owner name and mailing address.
Option B: Use the County GIS Map
- Google "[Your County Name] GIS map" or "[County Name] parcel viewer."
- Enter your property address or parcel number (APN).
- Your parcel will highlight on the map.
- Click on each adjoining parcel to view its details.
- Note the owner's name and mailing address.
Option C: Use the County Property Appraiser Site
- Google "[Your County Name] Property Appraiser."
- On the site, search your parcel using the APN or property address.
- Once your property details load, look for the Map or Parcel Map section (most appraiser sites have one).
- This map will display your parcel along with surrounding parcels.
- Click on each neighboring parcel to open its record.
Each record will typically include:
- Owner name
- Mailing address (tax bill address)
- Basic property details
Write these down for every adjoining lot.
Note: Some counties combine GIS and Appraiser tools into one site. Others keep them separate. Either way, the goal is the same: click into each neighbor's parcel and grab the owner info.
Step 3: Find Their Contact Info
- Use free people-search tools like FastPeopleSearch.com.
- Enter the owner's name and mailing city/state.
- Try the first phone number. If it doesn't work, move to the next 1–2.
- Do the same for email addresses.
Step 4: Reach Out Directly
Once you have their info, reach out by text, email, and phone. Here are simple templates you can use:

"Hi [Name], I'm your neighbor [Name]. I own the lot at [Property Address or Description]. Before I list it publicly, I wanted to see if you'd be interested in owning it since you're nearby. Would you like me to send you the details?"
Email Template
Subject: hey, I'm your neighbor at [address]
Hi [Name],
I own the parcel at [Property Address or Short Description]. I'm preparing to sell it, but before I list it publicly I wanted to reach out to you since you live right [next door, nearby, across the street].
Many neighbors prefer the chance to own the adjoining lot for privacy, expansion, or investment. If you'd like me to send over details and price, just reply back and I'll get them to you.
